Is there a Better Bet Today than Tuukka Rask Being a Brick Wall?

Tuukka Rask was very critical of himself after Game 1, saying “I was shit.”  In part because of how he played, the Bruins are down 1-0 in the series, but I think it’s pretty safe to say that they won’t go down 2-0 like in 2011.

Call me a homer, call me whatever you want, but the best bet today would be a Tuukka Rask shutout.  Kinda wishing I lived in Las Vegas right now.  How many times during the past 2 years have we seen Tuukka Rask blow for an extended period of time?  Last year, the games that I remember him sucking in were Game 2 vs. Toronto, Game 7 vs. Toronto, Game 4 vs. New York, Game 4 vs. Chicago.  Those 4 times, he followed up in the next game by allowing 2 goals, 2 goals, 1 goal, and 2 goals in the next games.  I just feel so much smarter because I backed up my blatant bias with facts.  I run this shit.

Tuukka Rask is gonna pitch a shutout today, I’m calling it.  Whatever the odds are in Vegas for that, they’re probably pretty good, so put some money on it.  Or maybe he’ll allow a soft goal late in the game when the B’s already have in the bag, whatever.  But Bruins are winning 4-0 today, and there’s gonna be at least one fight, and the Bruins player will win it by definition, because he’ll be fighting a Canadien.  Series is going back to Montreal tied.
